FLORA IN NUMBERS

Can we consider trees and plants as "Social"??

It is clearly seen and considered true that plants and trees (or basically flora) is more helpful to us when it is present in form of a forest. Which basically, brings me back to the origin of the fact how the notion of "Humans being better in Numbers" has been developed.

                    A forest looks magnificent and grand when looked from the outside, and equally intriguing when seen in-depth and closely. The variety of living-or-nonliving, usable-or-non usable matter that we obtain from them is second to none. This makes me finally question, what is the actual necessary resource that we have??
